On-site Support
Practical HR offers regular on-site support. This support may be for managers to discuss specific problems that may have arisen, to provide a generalist personnel function to the business, or to implement specific pre-agreed projects. On-site support may be for a number of days per week or month, or may be as little as half a day per month depending on requirements.
On-site support is also provided, if required, to deal with any immediate issues. This may include having to deal with difficult or sensitive situation with employees, such as disciplinary or dismissal meetings, redundancy consultation meetings or employee grievances.
Where on-site support is not required or available Practical HR can provide telephone or e-mail support.
Telephone Support
When you have a problem or a question (however big or small) you need to be able to pick up the phone and speak to someone. Our consultants will talk through any situation, recommend appropriate action, and discuss the different strategies or options that may be available to you in order to meet your objectives. Practical HR will then provide any additional support with the situation, which may include drafting letters, on-site support or meetings with you. While consultants cannot guarantee to be available every time you call (although often they will be), we can guarantee to come back to you as soon as possible and within eight working hours.
E-mail support
Advice is also offered via our e-mail support service, where you can ask any questions you need to. We guarantee to respond to your e-mail within eight working hours. However, for a number of reasons it may not be possible to give you the solution via email and in this case a consultant will contact you to discuss the issue in more detail.
