Number of Employment Tribunal Claims
The Employment Tribunal Services have just reported the statistics for 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2011. The figures show that unfair dismissal claims are 16% lower than last year. Whilst the total number of claims in this period has decreased from 238,100 to 218,100 (an decrease of 8%), there was still an increase of 44% from 2008 / 2009 figures.
